Mangko Akir is a collection inspired by a valiant headhunter and his consort who want to take equal ownership and responsibility. The collection depicts equality of power and status for today’s new generation.
Imcha Imchen believes in the promotion of handwoven textiles and traditional dying methods of the Nagas. Influenced by the arts, crafts and colours of the tribal world, he had found a way to translate the essence of his homeland into a young, modern and contemporary interpretation of wearable art.
